and Meeting

Meeting at 7:00pm
We welcome your participation defending our
Northern Kentucky community from the threat by the Energy
Merchant Division of Cinergy to locate 1-Billion-BTU combustion on a complex of gas-pipe interconnections on Kenton
Lands Road at Riggs Avenue.
Nowhere else in America is so much combustion so close to so many innocent lives. We are asking
Cinergy to honor the promise made to:
- Kentucky State Representative Jon
Draud,
- Crestview Hills Mayor Paul Meier,
- Erlanger City Council Members
by Cinergy representatives
- Tom Chaney, Environmental Coordinator
- Van Needham, Manager, Regional

"If Erlanger Council does not
approve of the Power Plant, Cinergy will locate elsewhere."
The purpose of this Rally and Meeting is:
- 1) Provide an opportunity for
peaceful citizen gathering, demonstrating our resolve to
defend our community from an external bully;
- 2) Encourage Erlanger City
Council to join with Crestview Hills in properly
answering a defective approval of permit by the Kentucky Division
of Airheads inadequately protecting
residential environmental Quality;
- 3) Enable
Cinergy to speak to concerned citizens and to answer
questions from citizens and leaders of Northern Kentucky;
- 4) Provide responsible
assessment of Cinergy's subversive Energy Merchant
strategy to impose too much pollution unbearably too
close to too many lives;
- 5) Develop successful
strategy averting this catastrophe at the heart of residential Northern
Kentucky.
- 6) Provide Petitions to sign
and addresses to write letters.
- 7) Educate and Inform
